CLD Event Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct

At CLD, we are committed to fostering event environments that are inclusive, safe, professional, and aligned with the highest standards of conduct. By registering for and attending our events, all participants—including attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, vendors, and staff—agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct.
1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms apply to all in-person and virtual events organized or co-hosted by CLD (CL Digital), including but not limited to “Future-Proof Your Brand: The Era of AI-Driven Hyper-Personalization in China.”
They cover expectations for behavior, registration, content usage, and safety while participating in any aspect of the event.
2. Code of Conduct
We believe in mutual respect and creating a professional, harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Gender identity or expression
- Sexual orientation
- Religion or belief
- Age, disability, or medical condition
- Language or accent
- Job title, seniority, or affiliation
Expected Behavior
Participants are expected to:
- Be respectful, inclusive, and collaborative
- Engage professionally in sessions and networking
- Wear your badge or name sticker visibly at all times at in-person venues (if provided)
- Follow instructions provided by event organizers or venue staff
- Alert CLD staff to any situation that compromises the safety or integrity of the event
Unacceptable Behavior Includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
- Inappropriate, abusive, or offensive language (verbal, written, or visual)
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
- Disrupting presentations or sessions
- Possession of illegal substances or open alcohol in non-designated areas
- Destruction, theft, or misuse of event property or venue infrastructure
- Bringing weapons or dangerous items to the event
- Unauthorized recording or photographing of other attendees without consent
- Sharing event access credentials with unregistered individuals
CLD reserves the right to deny entry, remove, or ban individuals who violate this Code of Conduct without refund or liability.
3. Privacy and Use of Personal Information
CLD will collect and process personal information from registrants in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting your registration, you consent to:
- Receiving marketing communications (newsletters, event invites, product updates, etc.)
- Being photographed or recorded during the event for CLD’s promotional purposes
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in our emails.
4. Event Content and Intellectual Property
All event content, including but not limited to speaker presentations, slides, product demos, and branded visuals, are the intellectual property of CLD or its partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose any content without written permission.
5. Health, Safety & Security
Participants are expected to follow all local public health and venue-specific safety guidelines.
CLD reserves the right to modify the event format (including shifting to virtual) in response to evolving health or security considerations. In the case of emergencies or suspicious activity, contact venue security or dial local emergency services immediately.
6. Registration Policy
- Registration does not guarantee admission; CLD reserves the right to prioritize attendance based on relevance to the event’s target audience.
- Business email addresses are required. Registrations using free/public domains (e.g., @gmail.com, @qq.com) may be declined.
- You may cancel your registration by contacting the event team at [Insert Email]. Due to limited capacity, please let us know promptly if you are unable to attend.
7. Amendments and Acceptance
CLD reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any such changes will be posted online and considered effective upon publishing.
By completing your event registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct.
